Portraits of Home

IMG_7784.jpg

Portraits of Home was a collaborative project conducted with residents of a residential treatment facility in Colorado. I asked participants to photograph the facility and consider the ways it was a home to them. I worked with five residents on this project. At the completion of the project the photographs and the narratives of the participants were presented to the staff of the facility. The photographs became a way to offer the residents a unique and powerful voice about their perspective
