I received my master's from Naropa University in Transpersonal Counseling and Art Therapy in 2012. Transpersonal Counseling embraces the whole of a who a person is, including their spirituality, health, and creativity. In my own life I utilize both spiritual practices and art for self-growth and development. In addition to these modalities, I use techniques fromTrauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, and Positivity Resonance in my work with clients.

I have worked with adolescents, young adults, and adults using art therapy practices to support clients' goals since 2009. I have extensive experience working with individuals who have experienced trauma, including childhood abuse, domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. I believe in the healing potential of art, and hold each client's insight, resilience, and wisdom as core to the therapeutic process.
